We considered changing the names of the participants, but then we realized that they were already using aliases. I'd like to set up a small references in popular culture section, where we could link to things like the Oliver Stone movie, or his head being President of Earth in Futurama. Have you even read WP:TRIVIA? It doesn't say there should be no trivia, but that trivia should be used selectively and to a purpose. Spitfish (talk) 20:12 January 18, 2008 (UTC)
You reverted a change from the 1969 photograph to the one I added from 1971. Could you explain your rationale? Per WP:GOODFAITH, I'm assuming good faith, here, or, if you prefer, Hanlon's Razor: never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity, but I honestly prefer the later photograph, and can see no reason for the revert. Okay, User:Spitfish seems determined to edit war over this. I'm suggesting we wait for a consensus to built on either photograph before making any more lasting edits. Not2Crooked (talk) 18:26 January 19, 2008 (UTC)
Just so I understand this, you made a unilateral decision to change a picture around which consensus had built, but your expecting the editor who objected to your change to build a new consensus against this? Since I also see no rationale for why we changed from this initial picture, which is I think superior to both, I'd suggest we revert to that one- but there is obviously no consensus for the new one.
